Nourishe Wellness
Improving Health Outcomes through mindfulness and culinary science education
Nourishe Wellness
The word “Nourishe” can be understood by breaking it into two parts: “Nouri,” which signifies light or wisdom, and “She,” which represents the divine feminine present in all of us – both men and women.
We believe in providing holistic approaches to help individuals achieve health and well-being by nourishing the mind, body, and soul. We offer mindfulness trainings (I.e., yoga, meditation, and breathing modalities), culinary science classes, and nutrition seminars. We meet individuals where they are by making classes convenient, accessible, and relatable.
A portion of proceeds from all Nourishe Wellness events goes to support Agriculture S.T.E.A.M Education.

Mindful Moments at Benedict College
For the past three years, the George Washington Carver Food Research Institute has had the privilege of offering a mindfulness training during Benedict College’s New Student Orientation. Together, we explored the importance of mental health, and the value of daily emotional check-ins. Benedict scholars learned breathing techniques, practiced meditation, flowed in their seats, and even danced in the aisles. Each student received a custom bracelet with their chosen power word to encourage them during difficult times.
Blessings to the wonderful BC scholars and staff for a successful, joy-filled year. Go Tigers!
